Ron “The YACMAN” Yacovetti
Ron Yacovetti has a deep history in combat sports, beginning with writing for two syndicated sports entertainment television shows, Thunder-box and Heavyweight Explosion. Ron’s career began much like Joe Rogan as a standup comedian. Ron has done a great job of combining his comedic flair with his combat sport education to keep even the most casual viewer entertained throughout the event. Ron is currently the voice for Art of FIghting, Called Out MMA, The National Fight Alliance, CCS, and the XKL. Watch for Ron on Fox Sports this summer, in their brand new MMA show, College Cage Series. Aside from commentating Ron has interviewed the sports top stars including Quinton Jackson, Tito Ortiz, Frank Shamrock, Gina Carano, Cung Lee, Brock Lesnar, and many more. In November of 2009 Ron was one of four MMA commentators (Ron Yacovetti, Frank Trigg, Stephen Quadros, and Frank Mir) featured in MMA Worldwide magazine’s “Expert Corner”.
